AWF is seeking a Qualified Arborist to join our growing team and help shape the landscape while working with a supportive and safety-focused crew.

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Arborist who's passionate about tree care and safety. You'll be working on a variety of residential, commercial, and council projects across the Hawke's Bay region. No two days will be the same!

Key Responsibilities:

• Tree pruning, removal, and maintenance
  
• Operating chainsaws, chippers, and EWP equipment
  
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
  
• Working as part of a team to meet project deadlines

• Liaising with clients and supervisors

What You'll Bring:

• Level 4 NZ Certificate in Arboriculture (or international equivalent)
  
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on arborist experience
  
• Full Class 1 driver's licence (Class 2 is a bonus!)
  
• Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions
  
• Strong focus on health and safety

• Great communication and teamwork skills
