We are seeking a qualified Site Traffic Management Supervisor with a Full Class 1 Drivers Licence.
As a Site Management Traffic Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic in and around our civil construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce traffic management plans to minimize disruptions and ensure safety
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of traffic control devices, signs, and barriers
- Monitor and maintain compliance with traffic safety regulations
- Train and supervise onsite traffic control personnel
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
- Address and resolve traffic related issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of traffic management activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in traffic management and site supervision
- Certification in traffic management and a FULL Class 1 drivers licence
- Class 2 licence desirable (not mandatory), WTR also advantageous
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations, and standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Physically fit and strong
- Must be able to pass all preemployment checks
- Current site safe/contruct safe cerficate desirable
