Our client, a well established national company are looking for an experienced Registered Plumber to join the team based in Whanganui.

About the Role:

Based at the Whanganui Hospital the main responsibilities of this role include:

• Identifying and managing maintenance activities including preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, reactive repairs and calibrations
• Commissioning adjustments of plant and equipment and liaising with specialist third party contractors
• Completion of all required paperwork including purchase orders, job information, estimates and technical reports

About You:

• Registered Plumber
• Knowledge of plumbing and drainage materials and methods, building and safety standards and the Building Code
• Current Class 1 NZ Drivers Licence
• Physically Fit
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Top time management skills
• Follow and comply with all Health & Safety policies and regulations
• Fully vaccinated against Covid 19
• Can pass drug and alcohol screening
• Clean criminal history
