Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our Invercargill workshop. You'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery including tractors, harvesters, and implements. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems on agricultural machinery.

Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.

Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot faults.

Maintain accurate service records and job sheets.

Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues.

Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards.

Skills & Experience

Trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Automotive Engineering.

Proven experience working with agricultural or heavy machinery.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and systems.
