About the role;

AWF is seeking a highly motivated person to assist our client in there Invercargill based operation. Our client is a leading kiwi manufacturer of greenhouses, commercial stock shelters and continuous spouting.

They are looking for a great team player to join their well established and busy crew.

The role will entail working in all parts of the business although mostly will be focused on the greenhouse manufacturing operation. This involves making all greenhouse parts from scratch and also installations at customers sites. The job involves using power tools and making precise and accurate measurements and cuts, each peice needs to be made with absolute precision and to the high standards that they place on themselves.

About you;

To be successful in this role you will be highly capable in using tools, you will be accurate and capable of making parts repeatedly to the same high standards.

You will be professional and capable of working directly with customers aswell as with the great team already present in the factory. Your high level of workmanship aswell as a belief that it's not done unless it's done right will help you be successful in this role.

This is work carried out in a repetitive fashion and so suits someone who is able to do the same work all day but it also has the need to be able to change what you're doing at short notice so as to meet customer demand and needs. The parts are heavy and require physical strength to make so this role does require strength and fitness.

In addition to the above you will;

- Have the right to work in NZ and have the relevant documentation to prove it

- Be able to pass pre-employments checks including drug/alcohol screening, criminal history and ACC history

- Hold a current full New Zealand drivers license, forklift would be advantageous but can form part of the training if need be

- Have a current CV with contactable work references

- Be physically capable of lifting upto 20kg's and able to complete a physical assessment if required
