About the work;
Our clients are industry leaders who are passionate about their industries and take pride in what they do, our candidates are offered on the job coaching so they can be successful in the roles.
Our main industries we work within are engineering, construction, manufacturing, logistics and processing. We do also have other industry opportunities from time to time. This work is largely quite physical so you will need to be capable and fit and willing to give anything a go, we have an expectation that when our people go to work they fulfill the work period that they have been assigned this means you will need some resilience.
This work is great for someone who is unsure exactly which working direction they want go and want to give things a go and work to the best of their ability to get themselves a start in their chosen industries.

About you;
Our successful candidates are hard working and willing to give things a go, they have sticking power and are flexible when needed. They have great positive attitudes and believe in doing things right, and doing this safely.
We are looking for people who are available during normal business hours and this role is not suitable for those who are only available on weekends or after school, whilst these are on call roles if you're not suitable for this position we will not be providing inductions just because you have applied.
You will also need reliable transport to be able to get yourself to and from work and allowances will be paid for any out of town travel for work.
Some of our work is physically demanding but the work is not gender specific, our work force is as dynamic as the work itself. You will however need to be able speak and understand english so as to understand the role and keep yourself safe at work. Due to the nature of this role this role is not suitable for applicants located out of the Southland area.
In addition to the above to be successful in your application you will also have the following;
- The ability to pass pre-employment checks including, criminal history, drug screening and ACC history
- The right to work in New Zealand and relevant documentation to prove it
- A current CV with contactable references
- An ability to work in established team environments to get the work done.
