We're seeking an experienced Membrane Roofer to join my clients skilled and friendly Dunedin-based team in a permanent capacity. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality waterproofing and membrane roofing work safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard. You'll take pride in your workmanship, enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and help uphold the company's strong reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete all allocated roofing and waterproofing tasks safely, efficiently, and to the agreed quality standards.
• Always work in a manner that ensures the safety of yourself, your team, and the public.
• Raise any safety concerns or training needs with your supervisor as required.
• Ensure work is completed within agreed timeframes and budgeted hours.
• Participate in regular Health & Safety meetings and provide constructive feedback.
• Attend training sessions as directed to maintain and enhance your skills.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the workshop in a clean and safe condition.
• Notify your supervisor of any damaged or faulty equipment immediately.
• Monitor and report low stock or consumable levels.
• Accurately complete work diaries and weekly timesheets.
• Be adaptable and willing to assist with related waterproofing or sealant work when required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in the application of butynol, TPO, warm roof systems, torch-on, and liquid-applied membranes (e.g., Sika Icure, Silcoat, Equus Dexx).
• Strong understanding of cold roof and warm roof systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, job sheets, and Health and Safety documentation.
• Ability to work unsupervised and lead or support other team members as needed.
• Roofing qualifications (preferred but not essential)
• Clean Full Class 1 New Zealand Drivers Licence
