Electronics Assembler

Location: Wellington
Job Type: Permanent
Reference: 200197439_1619743678
Salary: NZ$46000 - NZ$47000 per annum

This is a great opportunity for someone who is experienced in assembling electronic devices, or maybe someone with an Electrical Engineering degree who is looking for a first job in their field of study. Likewise anyone with electrical experience or a hobbyist might find this a great challenge.

The day will start with having a place to park your car which is a bonus in Wellington these days. The environment on the site is informal and you will be trained to assemble the company's various products. It's a small team and so you may actually find yourself actually doing a few other tasks like packaging the finished product or whatever it takes. It's a true team effort and even the Managing Director has to occasionally roll up his sleeves. If you find the "Getting it done", "Number 8 wire" approach appealing then you might fit in well here.

You'll need experience of using screwdrivers, spanners and pliers. Soldering can be taught but some previous experience of this would be a bonus.

It's a mechanical job with electrical knowledge needed. You'd need to be able to lift 2-3KG easily, you will also need a sense of humour.

To be able to access this great job you'd have to be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and have a clean criminal history.

This is a Permanent Role which will pay approximately $46k

The hours are Monday-Fri day, 7am-3.30pm. There is a bit of flexibility around this.
