With over 25 years' experience with servicing and repairing of construction plant equipment and fleets, our well-established client is looking for a Welder/Fabricator on a permanent full-time basis.
This role will be varied as you assist in welding, fabricating and repair work of varying plant and equipment both on site and in the workshop. You will have a eye for detail and a knack for design as you repair automotive equipment. We need someone who can work not only within a team but also works well autonomously.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum of 3-5 years welding experience
- Current AS/NZ 2980:2007 certification would be advantageous
- Previous experience with truck building and/or automotive environment
- NZ Class 1 driver licence
- Forklift certificate advantageous
- Have basic hand tools to carry out tasks
- Someone who can work within a team and autonomously
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
