Travel around Auckland with a crew of workers in work trucks, to set up traffic coordination site. All you need to do is have a good attitude, like working outside. Good communication skills and health and safety knowledge is a must.

Please note: - You must be either a New Zealand Citizen, Resident or on an Open Work Visa to be considered for this role. Applicants only residing in New Zealand will be considered.



About the role

  • Directing traffic and utilisation of a Stop/Go bat
  • Loading and unloading signs, cones, and various gear on and off the work truck
  • Setting up the site safely for road our maintenance operations
  • Interaction with the general public
  • General labouring duties


To be considered for this role:

  • You must have a current traffic control certification or be willing to get certified
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
  • Eager to get outside and work in all conditions
  • No issues standing for long periods of time
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities - able to keep cool and calm under pressure
  • Class 1 full/ restricted driver's license is preferred
  • You will have to interview with us in person in our Penrose office
  • Reliable and honest, with your colleagues and yourself
