Primary Role:
- To ensure that site installations are carried out safely and that the site is a safe place of work for all employees, sub-contractors, and visitors
- Ensure that the sites are always clean and tidy
- To back up and support the lead fitter on each project
- To train towards installing furniture to the highest quality
Secondary role:
- Be safe…Be safe… Be safe!
- To work under close instruction from the lead installer, paying particular attention to safety and quality
- To work towards being able to understand working drawings, either by an Architect, or the clients own shop drawings
- To ensure that your timesheet accurately records all work undertaken
- To learn how to use the power tools required for installation and fabrication. Under the strict guidance of the lead installer
Will need to have:
- Experience within the laboratory furniture industry
- Excellent communication skills, from dealing with fellow work mates and other site subcontractors. Excellent time management skills
- Good problem-solving abilities, to be able to think and plan a way around a problem.
- A full NZ driving Licence
- Pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
- Pass a Pre-Employment criminal conviction check
