Job Description

• Conduct checks to ensure manufactured pre-nail product meets plan and delivery specifications
• Inspect timber frames and trusses for defects
• Conduct equipment and machinery checks
• Maintain appropriate records and timely data entry
• Available shifts: 4am-3.30pm OR 4pm-3.30am, Mon-Fri
• East Tamaki location - parking available
• Successful applicant will receive full "on-the-job training" for 3-4 months to gain a good understanding of different stages of production process such as heavy lifting, manual loading, hammering, pre-nailing, bracing, using saws, cutting and other relevant duties
• Job offer is between $24.00 to $27.00 per hour depending on your experience

Job Requirement

• Physically fit and able to lift 20-25 kg materials
• Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment
• Experience working with building materials, frames & trusses
• Basic experience with tools and power tools
• Available to work Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday
• Reliable transport as work falls within hours where public transport is not available
• Able to pass a drug screen and disclose criminal convictions
• Must have 2 contactable work references
