Rainer Irrigation is growing, and new business growth means they are looking to expand their team. We are looking for someone with project management skills to manage a variety of installations for this awesome kiwi business!

Are you looking to grow into your next challenge? Maybe you would like to enhance your project management skills, or move out of your current industry and into the agribusiness sector?

Rainer Irrigation are a family business and have been around for over 30 years, well-known in Ashburton for quality in their specialist field of designing, supplying and installing irrigation and effluent systems.

They are growing, driving continuous improvement, and working smart in all they do. As a result, they are looking to employ an additional Project Manager

Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, this is role that focuses on the timely and the cost-effective delivery of installation projects - irrigation and effluent systems. Supported by divisional leads, and trained installers you will manage multiple projects across the mid Canterbury region.

Rainer Irrigation offers a competitive package including a vehicle and phone.

A bit about the role:

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and to client expectations
  • Forward planning to ensure resources are available when required
  • Managing budgets and monitoring costs
  • Progress reporting, and solving any site/resources issues that may arise

What will set you apart from others will be your ability to communicate with all stakeholders, to build strong relationships, to forward plan and organise to avoid potential issues, and your computer literacy with MS Projects and Excel will be advanced.

To be the ideal person for this role will come from a project management background or have the qualifications and skills to readily develop within the agri-servicing sector.
