The role of Production Supervisor is within a leading food manufacturing company in Ashburton. They offer good training and support, and an ability to develop your skills. You will be supported by 2 Team Leaders and will be responsible for ensuring the manufacturing process runs efficiently.
You will deliver training, ensure safety and quality standards are always maintained, and you will have a keen focus on managing performance. This is an operational role where you will be on the floor for much of your time, monitoring production and information stats, reporting, and liaising other divisions.
The role will work on a 4 on 4 off roster, and you will work a 12 hour shift. Your shift is designed to spend time with both the day and the night shift in this 24/7 facility so there is some flexibility on start times.
You will have a natural ability to
- Lead by example, and be part of a team
- Communicate effectively in a verbal and written capacity
- Build rapport with your workmates at all levels
- Think on your feet and problem solve
- Provide support and develop others.
