Experienced HVAC Service Technicians wanted for a stable, long-term onsite role within a large industrial manufacturing facility in South Auckland. This is a great opportunity for qualified technicians who enjoy hands-on work in a high-performing industrial environment, with consistent work at a single site rather than mobile callouts.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Responding to service requests, breakdowns, and priority callouts within a continuous production environment
- Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing faults across HVAC, refrigeration, and site cooling systems
- Maintaining mechanical components of HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Supporting installations, equipment upgrades, and commissioning works
- Repairing and refurbishing refrigeration systems, including component replacements
- Completing electronic job records and service reports using Simpro
- Working closely with site operations teams, contractors, and other trades
- Ensuring all work meets strict health, safety, and quality standards
What You Need:
- Trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or minimum 3 years' HVAC experience
- Current EWRB registration and practising licence as an Electrical Service Technician (EST)
- Full NZ Class 1 driver licence
- Refrigerant Fillers Licence (A1/A2L) or willingness to obtain
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong health & safety awareness
- Flexibility to take part in an after-hours / on-call roster
- Industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial experience is highly advantageous
