AWF are proud to be working alongside Simcox Construction to help them grow their already great team so they can deliver more high-quality work throughout Marlborough.

About the role

We're seeking dynamic and energetic Grader operator to fill a permanent role we have available. This role will see you assisting with various projects across Marlborough.

Depending on your skill level you'll be working as needed in either the drainage, earthworks, civil or quarry divisions within the Simcox business.

You will be operating a grader to spread and level materials in construction projects.

Whilst ideally, you'll have experience operating machinery, we're also keen to discuss with people who hold class 2 or 4 New Zealand licences who are keen to develop their operating skills within the civil environment.

$30-$35per hour

Who are we looking for?

Our Ideal candidate will have experience operating a Grader to a high standard.

A good practical problem solver will succeed in this role by working collaboratively with the rest of the team to understand what you need to achieve.

You'll need great attention to detail and to take real pride in your work, with a do it once to it right mentality you can really make a difference for the team working in the field.

In addition to the above to be successful in this role you'll need:

  • WTR Endorsements
  • Class 2 Licence
  • The ability to pass pre-employment checks including Drug and Alcohol and criminal history
  • The right to work in New Zealand and relevant documentation to prove it
  • A current CV with contactable references

Relocation support may be offered for the right candidate living outside of the region
