Our Client is one of the largest retirement village operator in New Zealand. They are passionate about providing quality service to their clients and are growing quickly.

This is a busy and diverse role, assisting the Property Manager with day-to-day garden maintenance activities. Therefore, you will need to be organised and efficient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in service. This is a permanent, full-time role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring well maintained, beautiful gardens and landscapes
  • Ensuring the buildings, grounds and amenities are kept clean and tidy for residents, families and staff to enjoy
  • Working with the Property Manager & Village Manager to plan, manage and report on work plans and budgets
  • Maintaining a professional, friendly and welcoming appearance and manner for all residents & families

About You:

Ideally you will have gardening or landscaping experience. But more important to us will be your genuine passion for creating great environments and love for all kinds of people from all walks of life.

To be successful you will bring:

  • A Collaboration & Team Player attitude
  • Excellent time-management to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • A good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in service
  • Great organizational skills and efficiency
  • The ability to work on a full time basis
  • Can pass drug and alcohol screening
  • Clean criminal history
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit, overseas applicants will not be considered
