Job Description:
As a Fish Filleter, you will be responsible for expertly filleting, skinning, and portioning a wide variety of fish species to meet customer and operational requirements. Your knowledge of seafood handling, knife skills, and speed will be essential in ensuring the freshness and presentation of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Fillet, skin, bone, and portion fish with precision and consistency
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
- Monitor product quality and freshness
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of seafood inventory
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced enviroment
- Keep work area clean, organized, and sanitized
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in seafood processing.
- Proven experience as a fish filleter
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of different fish species and cuts
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must have own transportation to get to and from the workplace
- Must be able to pass a pre employment Drug and Alcohol screen
