AWF are looking for Duct Fitters who have a minimum of three years' experience for five positions across Auckland. You should have a good command of English both written and verbal, and experience with installation on local NZ construction sites.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum three years proven hands on experience
  
• Ability to study blueprints and drawings to determine job requirements including materials and equipment required
  
• Setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal
  
• Shaping metal over anvils, blocks, or forms using hammer
  
• Cutting sheet metal based on drawings and blueprints by using hand and power shears, guillotines and drills
  
• Operating soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts
  
• Inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints of burred surfaces
  
• Includes sheet metal duct installers who install prefabricated sheet metal ducts used for heating, air conditioning, and others
