Our client is looking for a motivated and dependable General Laborer with a Class 2/4 Heavy Truck license. While the role involves minimal truck driving, the ideal candidate will need to perform a variety of general labor tasks and handle traffic-related responsibilities effectively. A history of traffic tickets is acceptable, but candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and efficiency on the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 2/4 Heavy Trucks as needed, with a focus on short-distance and minimal driving.
- Perform general labor tasks, including loading and unloading materials, site preparation, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist with traffic control and management, ensuring the safety and smooth flow of traffic around work sites.
- Support team members with various tasks and responsibilities as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the job.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 2/4 Heavy Truck license.
- Previous experience in general labor or a similar role is preferred.
- History of traffic tickets is acceptable, but candidates must demonstrate a commitment to safe driving practices.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor.
