This role will see you out and about in the Kapiti region working with a skilled technician and then returning to the yard to process material.

You will be an assistant and the tasks will vary from day to day but would be best classed as light labouring in the roading sector.

All training will be given and this could be a good opportunity to gain entry-level experience in civil construction.

Meet each morning at the yard in Kapiti at 7am

You will be working for AWF which means you will be paid weekly, receive 4 weeks annual leave and 11 stat days a year. Once you have been working for 6 months you will be able to access 5 days a year of sick leave.

We will provide all the PPE that you will need (Boots, Hi-viz, helmet etc)

Ideally you will need a full class 1 license but a restricted may work.

Your references will be able to tell us about how reliable you are and about the quality of your work.

You will need to be able to pass a drug screen and have a clean criminal history
