About the role;
This a role working as part of a team completing drainage projects throughout Southland, this includes manual handling of materials including the piping, level out trenches, chip spreading and filling. Every day is well planned but also highly changable. You could be on a shovel, a rack or getting stuck in with install work. Obviously this is outside work and so you'll see the best and worst that mother nature has to throw at you.
The client is Invercargill based and you will get to enjoy the comfort of your own bed at the end of each day.
The role is immediate start.
You will be a forward thinker, willing to do work without being asked and capable of thinking about what's next and then getting on and doing it.
You will be eager for some hard work, be very reliable and able to work well in a team environment.
You will show initiative and the will to learn new things, most of all you will take pride in your work and realise that there is always time to do the job right, first time.
You will also have the following;
- A CV with work references
- A full New Zealand drivers license as a minimum (international drivers licenses will not be suitable)
- Be able to pass pre-employment checks including criminal history and drug screening
- The right to work in NZ, and relevant documentation to prove it
- A great work ethic
