We are seeking a skilled Dispatch Coordinator to join one of our clients team in the Hastings area to start immediately.

As a Dispatch Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling, routing, and dispatching of a team of workers to various job sites. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

## Responsibilities

  • Schedule and prioritize work orders based on urgency and customer needs
  • Coordinate with field workers to ensure efficient routing and on-time arrivals
  • Monitor and track the status of jobs in real-time to address any delays or issues
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates on service arrivals and to address any concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of job assignments and ensure all paperwork is completed properly
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new field workers
  • Provide support for field workers by addressing any issues that arise during their assignments

## Qualifications

  • Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and GPS tracking systems
  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
  • Experience in the transport industry is a plus
