Delivery Driver - furniture

My client has a fulltime position for a reliable driver who enjoys driving, has a friendly demeanour and is flexible with being away from home 1- 2 nights a week.

About the role?

• Loading two or three times per week at the factory in Dargaville,

• Delivering to retailers and depots in Northland, Auckland, Bay of Plenty and the lower North Island.

• Monday to Friday position but does require some extended hours to meet deadlines.

• Opportunities to help the assemble team during any down time.

About you?

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Class 2 or 4, class 4 preferable.

• A clean driving record.

• Good communication skills and enjoy working with the public.

• Have a tidy appearance and be well mannered.

• Be able to demonstrate that you are self-managed and motivated.

• Have good record keeping ability.

• Be willing to undertake a full medical, drug and alcohol test.
