We're currently looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team and support our clients with precision machining and production work.
As a CNC Programmer you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components in accordance with engineering specifications and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files
Create CNC programs using appropriate software
Set up CNC machines and select appropriate tools for machining
Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure quality output
Conduct quality checks and measurements of finished parts
Troubleshoot issues and make modifications to improve efficiency or quality
Maintain machines and tools, ensuring they operate safely and effectively
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines and standards
- Not afraid to get your hands dirt and Supporting machinists with general workshop duties
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer (minimum 2-3 years preferred)
Strong understanding of machining techniques and CNC programming software
Excellent attention to detail and quality control standards
Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
Must have a valid visa or New Zealand residency
