We at AWF Nelson have a local events, equipment hire, temporary fencing and porter com units provider looking for their next staff member.

This role is geared towards a person has a current class 2 licence, ability to get stuck in on events sites to help place temporary fencing and porter com units, also work as part of a small team with excellent communication skills and not afraid of manual work

This role, for the right person will be long term with the client looking for a temp to per placement, they will also offer the ability to upskill and increase equipment knowledge.

About the roles

• Yard assistant
• Class 2 truck driver (moving equipment from point A to Point B)
• Is a monday to Friday role with flexability required for weekend events 7-7:30am start 7-9 hours a day
• Demolitions building and repairing coolstores

What our employers are looking for:

• Physically fit and injury free team members
• Previous work in the sector would be ideal, but a keen attitude, reliable, good communicator and physically able to do medium to heavy manual handling
• Class 2 licence is required
• As the work is an immediate start, you will need to already be eligible to work in New Zealand.

• Ongoing long term role/ temp to perm for the right person
