AWF have multiple opportunities for class 2 and 4 drivers and machine operators to join our clients busy civil construction businesses.

Our clients are industry leading and believe in taking great people and helping them grow to be the best they can be.

We are seeking dynamic and hard working people who are keen to work in this rewarding industry and help build and maintain the roads and local facilities that we all use every day. Right now we have multiple vacancies in roading, this work is outdoors and you will see everything that mother nature can throw at you at one point or another during your work.

AWF and our clients are committed to the safety of our workers and we need people with similarly high regard for safety on the road and on site, we will provide you with all of the PPE gear you need to be safe whilst on site and our clients are experts at what they do to ensure you go home safe and well after a hard days work.

The civil drivers and operators we need have to understand that they're working in a team environment, they need to be willing and capable of getting out of their rigs and assisting with the manual work as well, for this reason some levels of fitness and physical capabilities.

For this great work you'll be rewarded with great rates inline with your skills, licence and experience and you'll also get allowances for any nights you spend away, if you're not available for away work please let us know as we have local opportunities also.

What you need to be successful

These roles require people who can work well as part of a team, you'll need to be a skilled operator of machinery or have truck driving skills inline with your licence.

Prior experience with road ranger gear boxes would be highly regarded in the truck driving space and experience in construction would also be a huge advantage. You'll need to have previously done physically demanding work as this work definitely isn't just sitting on your bum all day.

In addition to this you'll also need the following;

- A New Zealand class 2, 4 or 5 licence (WTR and F endorsements favourable)

- The ability to pass pre-employment checks including; drugs, alcohol, criminal history and ACC history

- The right to work in NZ and relevant documentation to prove it

- A current CV with contactable references
