The Work
If you enjoying working in the great outdoors, or looking to embark on a career working outdoors we are looking for candidates to work in Weed Maintenance - spraying & 'tazzing' - this could be in parks and reserves, walkways, rivers and more in central Blenheim or remote landscapes in and around the region.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have experience working in these environments or be willing to follow instructions and learn the role
- Hold a Grow safe Certificate, or be willing to obtain one with the support of AWF & our client
- Be physically fit and active, as work involves heavy lifting and rough terrain
- Hold a full class 1 license and have the ability to get yourself to and from work (your day will begin around 630am).
- Have the ability to work solo or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and a strong focus on Health and Safety
