We are hiring for a talented Warehouse Manager to join our client based in Avondale. Responsibilities and Tasks
- Working with the warehouse manager / designer assisting with Fabrication requirements
- Fabricating flashings, brackets, enclosures, vermin strips
- Cutting bending folding drilling & welding all metals
- Cutting, drilling, polishing stone
- Be fully conversant with all aspects of the project's construction
- Identify critical Stone defects - issues, seeking solutions and communicate them to the management team
- Carry out-set out work and ensures its accuracy
- Provide input on information requirements to project team
- Escalate any unresolved issues to the Project team by end of workday
- Any other duties from time to time as required by management
Fabrication Technical Skills & Knowledge Required
- Technical Knowledge G metal fabrication & welding & ideally have a Stone mason Trade Background working in Residential & commercial construction projects
- An ability to understand structural, architectural, civil, and building services documentation and a consequent ability to interpret the requirements and constraints resulting from these
- Sound knowledge of building materials, plant, and commercial construction techniques
- Monitor quality and carry out OA inspections on fabrications
- Ensure ESM quality expectations are adhered to
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the specifications and drawings
Ensure Project Profit is Optimised
- Ensure labour, plant and materials are well organised and used effectively and efficiently in the fabrication warehouse
- Ensure any hired plant is only operated by fully trained staff
- Check goods received to ensure quality and quantity are correct and verify this by noting goods acceptance on delivery docket or purchase order
- Assist with the timely Completion of Projects
- Report all delays to the Project Team to identify recovery strategies
Ensure all ESM Health and Safety Policies are being observed
- Ensure Health and Safety obligations are clearly identified and that all personnel are working in line with ESM H&S rules and regulations
- Ensure all accidents are reported to the Project Team

- Be able to communicate, verbally and in writing, technical and financial information clearly
- Able to report accurately and concisely on all aspects of jobs under their control
