Overview
We are seeking dedicated and proactive Temporary Traffic Management Workers to join our team on a casual/on-call basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, manage traffic flow efficiently, and ensure the safety of all road users on various construction and maintenance sites.
Responsibilities
- Setup, manage, and dismantle traffic management systems on various sites.
- Ensure compliance with traffic management plans and safety regulations.
- Monitor and coordinate traffic flow to minimize disruption and ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with team members and the public regarding traffic changes and site safety advice.
- Assist with yard duties and ensuring safe storage of equipment.
- Report any incidents or breaches of safety to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Strong awareness of health and safety standards.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a dependable mode of transportation.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
- Previous experience in traffic management or a related field is an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
