The Work

We are looking for Traffic Controllers (TC's) to work on local roading projects in and around BOP region. The work consists of site set ups, site closures / breakdown, stop and go, site monitoring, coning in and out from traffic management trucks.

For those who are looking to get into this field we provide subsidized training to help kick start your career as a TC and gain a qualification is Traffic Management.

Must haves:

  • Be physically fit and injury free
  • Minimum Learners CL1 driver's license (Manual an advantage)
  • Having a CL2 license is an advantage but not essential
  • Own transport to get to work
  • 2 x Work references
  • As the work is an immediate start, you will need to already be eligible to work in New Zealand

About You:

  • You will be able to work 10 - 12-hour shifts (some with early starts 5am) This is not a 9 to 5 job
  • Enjoy working outdoors - In the sun and the rain
  • Can work well in a team/crew environment
  • Gets on well with all types of people
  • Always has a smile and positive outlook on life
  • You are wanting a traffic management career and willing to make your way up through the ranks.
