Our client based in Mt Wellington is looking for Trade Assistants on a full-time consistent basis (2 shifts available Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm or Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:30am). You will be physically fit as you're busy on your feet and operating hand and power tools.
There are multiple positions available within two departments 'Coil Canning' and 'Hollow Winding'. These are important processes as part of manufacturing coils used in the production of semiconductors and electromagnetics sent across the world!

Coil Canning
Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:30am, overtime available
Your main duties include placing an aluminium sheet as a mould around coils, create a dam containing glue before its set through the vacuum process. You will be required to use hand and power tools throughout the process.
Hollow Winding
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, overtime available
Using hand and power tools, you will be required to wind square hollow copper onto a winding former, as per customer coil design, on a motor driven winder.

Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment, but not essential
- Attention to detail
- Reliable transport to and from work
