Description:

Be a part of the warehousing crew, carrying out store's activity for a large-scale organisation, situated in East Otago.

To be successful in this role you must have good numeracy and literacy skills and be familiar with using computers, document management, stock management, communicate well with others and able-bodied with ability to perform a range of physical tasks.

You will be working within a tight-knit team and under the direction and supervision of the site supervisor.

You will receive training on warehouse operating procedures, administration, and how to operate as an effective team member, whilst adhering to workplace health & safety guidelines.

If you have a current forklift licence or certificate that would be desirable however not essential.

Let's talk about the role:

  • 7:00am - 4:30pm work schedule, Monday - Friday
  • Perform hands-on, physical tasks including, lifting & transferring inventory, operate pallet jacks, load & unload vehicles, cleaning equipment and more
  • Contribute to work in progress (WIP) meetings and maintain a safe and compliant workplace for team members
  • Use computers to record and manage inwards/outwards inventory and equipment

What we're looking for:

  • Long-term employment investment

  • Attention to detail and adhere to health & safety guidelines
  • Full Class 1 Driver Licence and personal transport
  • Forklift (F) Endorsement and/or Forklift OSH Certificate (preferred but not essential)
