We are seeking an ambitious, hardworking, and enthusiastic recruiter to join our amazing Waihi team! This role will appeal to someone who is passionate about people, as you will be focused on candidate attraction, retention, and pastoral care of our AWF temporary employee workforce. In addition, this role requires someone who cares equally about customer service, business development and customer retention, ensuring we are providing the highest level of account management and solution services to our clients in an increasingly changing market environment.

You will need to demonstrate you have a good understanding of the Waihi area and associated industries. As the region is in growth phase, a 'hustle' mentality is required to leave no stone unturned in the hunt for business opportunities and applicants.

An Extensive knowledge of the civil Sector and Construction Industry would be advantageous

We would love to hear from you if you have the following experience and attributes:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Recruitment Consultant, or Customer Account Management, Business Development/Sales
  • Real team player outlook, always willing to go the extra mile
  • Outstanding client service skills and the ability to form strong relationships
  • Proven success in achieving KPI's and sales targets
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Strong problem solving, influencing, and negotiating skills
  • A proactive attitude and great initiative

In this role you will be a critical part of the success of the branch. The branch requires a self-motivator with focus and drive, who can juggle conflicting priorities, work smart to meet the demand, keep cool under pressure and provide solutions. We are people finding and recruiting people for people, and everything that can go wrong does. You will therefore need to be someone with resilience and a 'never say die' approach to pleasing both clients and candidates whilst also working within financial guidelines.
