We are on the hunt for an experienced Recruitment Consultant with an Engineering background preferably who thrives on managing clients and staff relationships. This role is base at our Eden Terrace branch that primarily provides a range of Engineering trades staff to various Engineering and Technical companies in and around Auckland.

As a Recruitment Consultant you must be able to connect with people and to understand their needs - whether that be a client or a candidate. Multi-tasking and balancing priorities are key elements of the role along with maintaining and managing our commitment to the Health & Safety of our staff. This is an end to end recruitment role with an established client base who value the services of a consultant who "goes the extra mile".

Day in the life of a Recruitment Consultant:

* Consulting with clients on their staffing needs and skill alerting potential candidates

* Writing advertising and loading to job boards

* End to end portfolio management of a successful client base

* Forming relation with various trade schools across Auckland

* Building exceptional relationships with both candidates and clients

* Conducting interviews and inductions

* Completing pre-employment checks on candidates

* Regularly catching up with candidates during the application process

* Ensure daily compliance within proven operating systems

* Working with the team to successfully utilise AWF temps

To be successful you will have:

* Proven sales focussed customer service background

* Knowledge of various engineering trades advantageous

* Experience in a recruitment environment with a sourcing focus

* A real desire to see others succeed

* Strong negotiation skills

* Administration experience gained somewhere where multi-tasking is the norm

* Can think on your feet and have conflict resolution capability

* Proven record of working to deadlines and various pressures

* Payroll experience advantageous

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Experience using Microsoft Suite
