AWF is a well-established New Zealand owned company that has helped Keep NZ Working for over 30 years. Behind our business are genuine people striving to make a significant difference to our clients and their business, while ensuring we focus on placing our candidates every day into meaningful work opportunities and ensuring they go home safely.

We are seeking an ambitious, hardworking, and enthusiastic recruiter to join our amazing Invercargill team! This role will appeal to someone who is passionate about people, as you will be focused on candidate attraction, retention, and pastoral care of our AWF temporary employee workforce. In addition, this role requires someone who cares equally about customer service, business development and customer retention, ensuring we are providing the highest level of account management and solution services to our clients in an increasingly changing market environment.

You will need to demonstrate you have a good understanding of the Invercargill region and associated industries. As the region is in growth phase, a 'hustle' mentality is required to leave no stone unturned in the hunt for business opportunities and applicants.

Knowledge of the civil sector, logistics and food processing industries would be advantageous but we're more focused on finding someone who can engage with people at a variety of levels

What can we offer you?

Attractive bonus scheme

On-going training and support

Opportunity for career progression with the 21 Branches across the AWF Brand and further opportunities within the wider Accordant Group

After 1 year with AWF, an additional 1 week's leave

Birthday leave

Paid End of year shopping day

Car, mobile phone, and tools of the trade

We would love to hear from you if you have the following experience and attributes:

Prior professional experience in a people centric business

Real team player outlook, always willing to go the extra mile

Outstanding client service skills and the ability to form strong relationships

Proven success in achieving KPI's and sales targets

Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written

Strong problem solving, influencing, and negotiating skills

A proactive attitude and great initiative

In this role you will be a critical part of the success of the branch. The branch requires a self-motivator with focus and drive, who can juggle conflicting priorities, work smart to meet the demand, keep cool under pressure and provide solutions. We are people finding and recruiting people for people, and everything that can go wrong does. You will therefore need to be someone with resilience and a 'never say die' approach to pleasing both clients and candidates whilst also working within financial guidelines.

If you are interested in a role where no two days are the same, please apply online, or feel free to contact us with any specific questions at: people@accordant.nz. We look forward to hearing from you!
