Our client is the leading New Zealand provider of full and complete Commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems.

They offer an integrated range of technical services for Mechanical and Ventilation Systems, from advice and design through to installation, commissioning, maintenance and ongoing operation and management. Our client's expertise is in Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services with an emphasis is on energy efficiency, tranquillity, and the visual impact of their systems.

What we're offering:

• Generous Salary $110k - $140K based on experience
• Modern Company Vehicle with personal use (Use of the car outside of work hours & on the weekends)
• Hourly Tool Allowance to subsidise the purchase of tools for the job
• Monday to Friday Hours with some occasional overtime which may be required to meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Installation of Ventilation systems, Sheet metal Duct work, Refrigeration pipework & Airconditioning systems, Ducted, Wall Mount & Cassettes to completion
• Forecasting & Management of the Project Budget and program
• Ordering and budgeting of required materials as well as approvals of supplier Invoices
• Creation and maintenance of O&M Manuals and As-Built Manuals for projects
• Identifying Variations where required and submitting to the main contractor variation notices/works including follow up to obtaining of approvals
• Key focus on labour budget management
• Project Completion and deadline management
• QA & Snag
• H&S policies and processes are followed on site

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• At least 5 years previous site-based experience
• Relevant Refrigeration or Electrical training or qualification advantageous
• Ability to coordinate and lead the Site Supervisors, Installers and Subcontractors
• Follow Project Plans and resolve issues as they arise
• Be able to add value by knowledge sharing of their previous experience within the industry
• Bring your in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and ensure they are installed to NZ standards
• Ability to Site Measure and install HVAC Duct work and be able to provide technical expertise and 'know-how' for site supervisor
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
