Our Kerikeri branch has partnered Moana Fisheries Ltd and is searching for a number of people to start work with an Oyster Farm in the Kaeo area. We grow the Oysters in the Whangaroa Harbour but the grading and farming is done at a nearby land based oyster farm. You'll be asked to spend some of the day out on the water replacing some infrustructure and keeping on top of the farming of the oysters as they grow. The rest of the day you will be assisting the land based farm to grade the oysters, put together oyster pots and assisting throughout the farm. This is an enjoyable role in a great location. These roles are not just for a few weeks but will go for many weeks/months. It would suit people residing around the Kaeo/Kerikeri/Waipapa area in particular and we are also taking entry level school leavers. Full training can be provided.
