We are in need of a motivated, safety focused individual to be trained as a Production Operator in this large Christchurch Manufacturing plant.

The role involves:

• Following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• General manufacturing duties
• Using a forklift and gantry crane (no experience necessary, full training will be provided)
• Part of the team in operating machinery to ensure continuous production
• Identifying issues and faults, quality assurance

You MUST but willing to work on a rotating shift work roster: 4 days on, (2 days shifts 7am to 7pm), then 2 night shifts, (2 night shifts 7pm to 7am)

About you:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment beneficial but not essential
• Forklift licence and current NZ driver's licence a bonus
• High degree of mechanical aptitude and technical problem solving
• Physically fit and the ability to safely handle heavy equipment and product
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and MOJ check
