AWF Ltd in Kaitaia are searching for Mill Hands. You'll be working at our nearby sawmill manufacturing wood products. We have immediate starts available for the right applicants. These roles involve monitoring large machinery for long periods where you will be required to stand. It also involves shift work once you are competent. Full training is provided to get you to the stage of shift work. The shift system is a mixture of days and nights. We require people to work Monday through to Thursday from 6.30am to 6.30pm and the following week you'll be working the night shifts from Monday to Wednesday from 6.30pm to 6.30am. This means you have a long weekend, every weekend. There is also a progression plan in place for candidates joining us. You must be physically fit for these roles as it involves long standing as mentioned. You will also be drug screened prior to placement and you cannot have any previous serious convictions.
