Role is fabricating plastic items including design, producing prototypes and manufacturing of the final products.
Due to the upcoming retirement of a long-term staff member, we are looking for a replacement plastic fabricator. Start date in November is negotiable to allow for training and handover from the current staff member finishing at the end of the year.
Bonus: There is potential for the right person to learn the overall management with a view to taking over or purchasing into the business.

Tasks include:
- Fabricating plastic items using a range of materials
- Design, producing prototypes and manufacturing the final products
- Operating machines - table saw, buzzer, sander, oven and CNC router
- Assisting to keep the factory clean, tidy and uncluttered
- Lifting of materials and plastic sheets
Role Requirements:
- Experience working with plastic or similar materials such as wood / sheet metal
- Strong hands-on skills such as cabinet making, joinery or fabrication
- Ability to use power tools and production machines
- Computer literate. Experience with Auto CAD would be a bonus
- A commitment to quality with an eye for detail
- Able to wear PPE and not sensitive/allergic to plastic dust / smell
- Physically fit
Must already living in and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand - NZ / Aust Citizenship or NZ Permanent Residency. Overseas candidates will not be considered. This role is not suitable for visa sponsorship.
