Overview
We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will have a class 1 full license, 2-5 years of experience in commercial and residential painting, and a strong commitment to health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint
- Mix paints and match colours for desired finish
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Ensure proper protection of surrounding areas to avoid damage from paint
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with clients to understand their painting needs and preferences
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience as a Painter
- Class 1 full license
- Health and safety conscious
- Great attitude and reliability
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work in commercial and residential settings
- Maintenance experience is a plus
Day-to-day
- Arrive at job sites on time and prepared to begin work
- Communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met
- Work with a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines throughout the painting process
