National Sales Manager

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced National Sales Manager to lead their business into the future. Reporting to the Board, you'll be responsible for leading the business sales and administration operations within New Zealand. This will include planning and overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring that all customer expectations are met and developing the business to be robust for the future.

The role will involve comprehensive sales forecasting, so a high level of financial acumen is required and FileMaker database development.

Our Invercargill based client has offices in NZ, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. They are industry experts in the network engineering field and work to deliver simple solutions to difficult networking problems by providing their clients with the best quality equipment that meets their unique needs.

They are distributors of Peplink and Apple networking equipment which are truly state of the art so their National Sales Manager will need to hold Peplink Trainer, Sales and Engineer certifications to successfully deliver the expertise and service their clients rightly expect.

They're seeking someone with commercial acumen and vision to continue to develop their growing business and the best way for someone to do so is to be creative and innovative.

To be successful in your application for this role you'll have a high level of confidence utilising and selling Peplink networking products, this will be evidenced by the holding of Peplink Certifcations. You'll be a smart, capable and experienced Sales or General manager with prior networking industry experience.

Through your high levels of organisation and excellent communications skills you will be able to think forward and build strong business foundations that will see the business continue to be successful for many years to come.

Strong computer and administration skills are needed to be successful in this role and a minimum of 5 years FileMaker experience will be required to be successful in your application.

In addition to the above, to be successful in your application you'll need the following;

  • Minimum Class 1 New Zealand driver's licence
  • Tertiary education at NZQA level 4 or above
  • Minimum 5 years Management experience with proven business success
  • Peplink Trainer, Sales and Engineer certification
  • 5 years' experience using FileMaker
  • Apple ACN certification would be an advantage
  • The right to work in New Zealand and relevant documentation to prove it
  • Be currently residing in New Zealand
