The Work

Looking for skilled Mechanical Assembly Technicians who can prove a balance of theoretical and hands on experience in a similar role or industry. You will need a good working knowledge of the manufacturing processes, tolerances and mechanical drawings. Knowledge of MRP systems would be an advantage.

The role will be responsible for assembly of electrical and mechanical components across the various RPL product lines.

Task's Include

  • Assembly of electrical components
  • Assembly of mechanical components
  • Testing final produced robotics machine to the specified test instructions and recording results
  • Quality control
  • Stock Management
  • Overall workshop operations and ensuring it is kept tidy and in a safe manner
  • Raising drawing and wiring schedule amendments
  • Raising purchase orders for components

About You

You will have a proven balance in theoretical and hands on experience. You will be able to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, resilience and enthusiasm. You will bring a can-do attitude, be able to perform well under pressure and be adaptable to change in an R&D environment. A formal qualification in electronics/engineering would be favourable.

You will thrive working in a team environment, building strong relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions. Having the ability to adapt and embrace the opportunities that come from changing circumstances, new ideas and change initiatives is paramount.
