Our client based in Avondale is looking for an experienced trade qualified, Maintenance Fitter to join their company. Your duties will include preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
This is a full-time position working Monday through to Friday 7am-3:30pm. This position will keep you busy working for an industry leader, so overtime work is available.

You'll be looking after:
- General maintenance of plant, machinery, and equipment across the workshop floor
- Responding to equipment failures in a timely manner
- Maintaining and implementing preventative maintenance schedules
- Liaising with the Engineering Manager on requirements
- Completing engineering reports as required
- Keeping a safe and clean workshop
To be successful you must have:
- Proven experience in machining parts using both a lathe and milling machine
- Competent in fault finding, diagnostic and repair of a diverse range of production machinery
- Exposure to both pneumatic and hydraulic equipment advantageous
- Experienced with commissioning of new plant within a production/commercial environment
