The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation.
## Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and carry out repairs.
- Install new machinery and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational efficiency.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.
## Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Certification in mechanical maintenance or a related field is a plus.
## Day-to-day
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks.
- Respond to maintenance requests and address issues in a timely manner.
- Work with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule repairs.
- Communicate with other departments to understand their maintenance needs and priorities.
- Document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records of equipment performance and repairs.
