Our client is 24/7 food manufacturing operation based just north of Ashburton. They are a national brand and they are looking for trade qualified maintenance fitters who want to be part of their ongoing continuous improvement programme.
Working a 12 hour shift roster of 4 on, 4 off - (days or nights,) you will be a part of a team dedicated to keeping production going. With a mix of reactive and preventive maintenance you will gain experience across all production activities on site. They have a CMMS, a modern production facility, modern technology and best practice in maintenance management.
Your trades qualification, fitting skills, exposure to food manufacturing machinery including hydraulics, pneumatics, and tig welding skills will be complemented by machining experience and a strong mechanical aptitude.
You will also enjoy challenge, can think on your feet, have well developed diagnostic and problem solving skills!
