This role will see you earning the living wage, out and about in the Kapiti region working with a skilled technician and then returning to the yard to process material.

You will be an assistant and the tasks will vary from day to day but would be best classed as labouring in the roading sector.

All training will be given and this could be a good opportunity to gain entry-level experience in civil construction.

Meet each morning at the yard in Kapiti at 7am

You will be working for AWF which means you will be paid weekly, receive 4 weeks annual leave and 11 stat days a year. Once you have been working for 6 months you will be able to access 5 days a year of sick leave. That's up to 36 days (more than 7 weeks!) that you get paid for NOT going to work.

AWF have a passion for safe work and your health and safety. That means that we have checked our client's H&S policy and we will have H&S meetings with you as well. All PPE (Boots. Hi-Viz, Gloves, Glasses etc) will be provided by AWF
