I am on the Hunt for some reliable workers, who aren't afraid of getting sunk in and working. You will be working on many of the construction sites around Tauranga. You do not need any relevant experience but have transferrable skills from either previous building work, Farm or engineering work, work involving physical labour, such as gardening or road construction. Building and construction Labourers may do some or all of the following Organise, tidy and prepare construction sites as required, including assembling scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches. Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt. Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them and disposing of them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis. Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment, Operating construction equipment and machinery correctly and only use if you have the correct training and certifications, W,T R endorsements, or Forklift NZ endorsements. Following the health and safety regulations correctly and report any accidents or near misses to AWF and the client you are contracted too. Very important to be wearing the correct PPE at all times and working smartly and efficiently around machinery and on going trucks and machines.
