AWF are seeking reliable machine operators to assist our clients in a number of sectors. We have multiple roles for machinery operators with a variety of experience requirements. So if you've got the licenses and the experience or, if you've got the licenses and are just starting out, then AWF have the roles for you!

Our clients are industry leaders, they hold safety in extremely high regard and have high expectations for their team members to be working in a safe manner to avoid incidents and ensure everyone goes home well at the end of the day.

About the Roles;

We have a variety of machine operator roles, some of these involve staying away and some are based in the Southland area so you will return home every night. We also have roles for people who're looking to get started as operators.

We currently have roles for loader operators, excavator operators and roller operators. This means if you have these skills (or have the licenses but not the experience) then now is a great time for you to be contacting us.

You will be provided with all of the basic PPE gear to ensure you can return home well and safe at the end of a good days work.

Please be aware that all of our machine operating roles have a requirement that people be willing to get out of their machine and undertake basic labouring roles from time to time, so if you're not comfortable physically helping a team to get the job done then you need not apply.

About you;

You will be honest and hard working, with prior experience working as part of a team. You will be flexible in your work and follow directions well, you will hold safety in high regarding and understand that there is always time to do things properly and safely.

For those training roles you will be an active listener who is willing to work with some of the most experienced operators in the region to gain vital operating skills, you will also be able to take onboard feedback.

In addition to the above you will;

- Hold a current class 2 license with WTR endorsements

- Have the right to work in New Zealand and relevant documentation to prove it

- Be able to pass pre-employment checks including criminal history, drug screening and ACC history

- Be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 15kg's

- Have a current CV with 2 work references
