AWF Invercargill, on behalf of our local client, are seeking a skilled and experienced Heating Engineer to work permanently within their friendly and experienced team.

We are seeking someone who will be responsible for installation, repairs, maintenance and servicing on a wide range of boiler systems.

This role involves interacting with domestic and commercial customers and you will need to be able to interact politely and professionally with a wide range of people to be successful.

Operating out of Invercargill for more than 25 years our client is well established and experienced in providing high quality Heating, Plumbing and Welding services for the Southland and Central Otago regions. They pride themselves on quality workmanship and delivering great service for their customers as this has enabled them to be successful over many years working within the local market.

The work site varies, and the client base is spread quite wide so their team get to see a lot of beautiful Southland and work with a great bunch of people who enjoy what they do. They have a great culture where valuing their people is a key priority.

Our successful applicant

To be successful in your application for this role you'll need to be a skilled and experienced within the industry and have at least 5 years experience working with boilers. You'll believe in doing things right the first time, to a high standard and within the expected time frames.

Your industry experience will enable you to work alongside others and offer great service to customers. You'll need a good grasp on the English language and be a good communicator both written and verbal.

As our client is dedicated to safety, they need people who share their views, are committed and have excellent understanding of Health and Safety practices.

In addition to the above you'll need the following to apply for this role;

- At least 5 years experience working with boilers

- A Full New Zealand Drivers Licence

- The ability to pass pre-employment checks including Drugs/Alcohol and criminal history

- The right to work in New Zealand and relevant documentation to prove it

- A current CV with contactable references
